Real challenges. We understand.
Common challenges for industrial distributors
Thousands of parts, customer-specific prices and multi-brand orders make it easy for sales, stores and accounts to fall out of sync.
Part number chaos
A plant sends 40 line items. Finding price and stock takes half a day.
Each customer pays a different price
Regular plants have their own agreed rates, and no one remembers which.
Half the PO has gone
No one remembers what is still owed, and the plant calls on the day a machine stops.
One part is always missing
Maintenance kits are packed from loose stock, and no one knows how many complete sets you can supply.
Where industrial distributors can make more money
Eight ways KnowBuild grows your revenue and protects your margin

Frequently asked questions
We stock thousands of parts across many brands. Can KnowBuild handle that?+
Yes. Every part is saved once with its code, brand, price, discount limit and stock. Your team searches by part number, name or code and sees everything in one line.
Each customer has its own agreed price. How do we keep track?+
Before quoting, your team sees the previous order rates for the same customer and for customers in the same segment, so the price stays consistent.
Do we have to stop using Tally?+
No. Keep Tally for your final accounts. You can start with Sales OS next to Tally to fix inquiries, quotes, follow-ups and payments, and move stock, purchase and dispatch onto KnowBuild when you are ready.
Can we deliver a PO in parts?+
Yes. Send what is ready. Every part delivery is recorded against the order, and the balance is shown until the last item is delivered.
We sell a lot through GeM and tenders. Is that covered?+
Open tenders have their own list on the Sales Dashboard, and tender quotes are followed up like any other quote. A full Tendering module will be available as an optional add-on by December 2026.
How do we start?+
With a 5-user pilot on the one area that hurts most, usually quote-to-order or order-to-delivery. You grow from there once it works.
